I purchased this unit in time for the 2023 camping season. It is mainly used between May and October and maybe a few times over the winter. The BougeRV Portable Refrigerator comes with a 2 year warranty. Our unit stopped cooling 3 months after the warranty ended. I contacted BougeRV and they had me do an easy 1 hour test and they said the unit has failed and is out of warranty. I then asked if I could get a discount as I would love to get it replaced and they issued a very generous discount code and I ordered a new one that arrived promptly.

It looks to me like the compressor gave out. Hopefully the replacement unit lasts longer than 2 years and if not, I guess I would try another brand? This really is the perfect portable 12V refrigerator for us and I’m hoping to have the new one for many more years to come!
